Built for How Teams Actually Work

Sarah

For Managers

Sarah runs the QA team at a digital agency. Every Monday, she used to spend 2 hours pulling data from multiple reports to prepare the weekly accessibility summary for stakeholders.

Now she just asks:

"Show me how our accessibility scores have changed across all client sites this week. Which sites have improved the most?"

In seconds, she has a complete picture — ready to share with the team or export for the executive report.

Marcus

For Developers

Marcus is a frontend developer who just inherited a legacy codebase. The site has thousands of pages and he needs to prioritize what to fix first.

Instead of clicking through endless report pages, he asks:

"What's the most urgent issue to fix on our Acme client site? Show me pages affected, example codes with the issue, and a simple guide on how to fix it."

He gets a prioritized action plan that turns a daunting task into a clear roadmap.

Peter

For Marketing

Peter works in marketing and wants to highlight how their company leads on accessibility compared to competitors. Gathering competitive data manually would take days.

Now he just asks:

"Run accessibility reports on our top 3 competitors and compare them to our site. Where do we have an advantage?"

He gets a competitive analysis showing they have 60% fewer critical issues — a compelling story for the next investor pitch.

Elena

For QA Engineers

Elena leads responsive QA at a web agency. She needs to ensure sites are accessible across all devices — but manually comparing desktop and mobile reports is tedious.

Now she simply asks:

"Create two accessibility reports for our client site — one with desktop and one with iPhone. Compare both and tell me what accessibility differences there are."

In minutes, she discovers that mobile has 4 extra critical issues — buttons without labels and images missing alt text that only appear on smaller screens.

Tools Included in the MCP Server

When you connect the Rocket Validator MCP to your AI assistant, it gets access to these specialized tools to help you work with your validation data.

Reports

List, filter, search, and create validation reports. Find reports by URL, tag, date, or issue count. With write permissions, your assistant can also create new reports on demand.

Example prompts:
  • Show me all reports from the last week
  • Which reports have the most accessibility errors?
  • Create a new report for https://example.com with 50 pages
Web Pages

Browse and inspect individual web pages within your reports. See all issues affecting a specific page, filter by issue types, and recheck pages after fixing issues (with write permissions).

Example prompts:
  • Show me the pages with the most HTML errors in my latest report
  • Which pages are affected by the alt text issue?
  • Recheck the pricing page
Common Issues

See HTML and accessibility issues aggregated across your entire report — W3C Validator, Axe Core, and AccessLint Core, plus the Axe checks that need manual review. Find out which problems affect the most pages, so you can prioritize fixes that have the biggest impact.

Example prompts:
  • Show me all critical accessibility issues on the checkout page
  • List all color contrast issues on the homepage
  • What needs manual review on the pricing page?

Example prompts:
  • Explain what "duplicate ID" means and how to fix it
  • Explain the "landmark-one-main" accessibility rule

Example prompts:
  • Show me all my scheduled reports
  • When did my production schedule last run?
  • Create a weekly schedule for https://example.com with Axe and AccessLint checks

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude, Codex, and OpenCode connect to external data sources. Think of it as giving your assistant the ability to "see" your Rocket Validator reports directly, instead of you having to copy-paste data.

Which AI assistants are supported?

Claude, Codex, and OpenCode all work out of the box. See the setup guide for per-client instructions.

Is my account safe?

Yes. We use the OAuth 2.0 industry standard to securely connect your Rocket Validator data to your AI assistant. It cannot delete any of your data — it can only read your existing reports and, if you grant write access, create new reports or re-validate web pages on your behalf.

Can my AI assistant create reports on my behalf?

Yes, if you grant write access when authorizing the connection. With write access, your assistant can create new validation reports on demand and re-validate specific web pages. This is useful when you want to run a fresh validation or recheck pages after you've made fixes. If you only need to browse existing reports, read-only access is enough.

Do I need a paid Rocket Validator plan?

Yes. You need an active paid Rocket Validator subscription. The MCP is included on every plan. Check out our Pricing page to choose your subscription plan.

What do I need on the AI side?

Claude's custom connectors require Claude Pro, Max, or Team — the free tier does not support them. Codex and OpenCode need no paid tier for MCP access. See the setup guide for details.
